About Tommy
Tommy McGregor
Thanks for visiting my website and learning more about why I became a financial advisor. I grew up in Bethesda, MD in a modest house with two younger sisters and working-class parents. My father and mother each dedicated 40 years to the same employer before retiring. Their commitment, dedication, and loyalty to their jobs were values they consistently demonstrated in all aspects of life, influencing me and my sisters. These principles of commitment, dedication, and loyalty are the same values I uphold for my clients today.
It wasn't that discussing finances in my family was taboo; rather, it simply wasn't a priority. The only conversations about financial planning were those I overheard, and I vividly remember my parents asking themselves the same questions I now help my clients answer. With this in mind, I recognized from a young age the sense of peace, security, and dignity that effective financial planning can provide.
My parents' uncertainty inspired me to enter the financial services industry and help people just like my parents feel confident in their financial situation and provide security for their families.
Early in my career, I witnessed firsthand how I could help people by guiding them toward retirement security and confidence in their future. I dedicated my career to working with positive individuals, who are diligent savers, and value professional advice. Over the past 15 years, this goal transformed into my life’s passion.
Today, I remain committed to educating, engaging, and inspiring as many people as possible to take control of their finances. I enjoy building close, long-lasting relationships with my clients, many of which span decades and generations.
Over the years, I have noticed that clients often reach out to share their joyful news, whether it’s a new job, the birth of a child or grandchild, or photos of their new mountain or beach home. I am also honored to serve as a shoulder to lean on during challenging times in life, such as a layoff, divorce, or loss of a loved one. It is my privilege to help clients on their personal journeys and to celebrate their successes with them. I look forward to meeting you to learn more about your goals and dreams.

Personal Interests
I am from Bethesda, MD and graduated from Clemson University in 2008. I am married to my wife Whitney and we have three kids: Lilly Grace, Liam, and Lucy.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me traveling with my family, playing tennis, pickleball, or golf.
I absolutely love to coach youth sports. It has been a great way for me to connect and bond with my children. There’s so much about life that can be taught on the field or court. I am currently coaching my daughter’s soccer team and my son’s basketball team.
I love our Greenville community and it is a honor to routinely volunteer at Harvest Hope, Soup Kitchens, and Junior Achievement.
