Frequently Asked Questions
- I’m not ready to make big changes to my financial plan. Will this meeting be high pressure?
Not at all. My goal is to provide you with an honest, professional assessment of where you currently stand and offer insights on ways you can improve your plan if you choose to. I understand that retirement planning is personal, and any next steps will be completely up to you.
- What if I already have a financial advisor?
That’s perfectly fine. Many of my clients had a financial advisor, but they also wanted a second opinion to ensure they’re on the right track.
- I’m busy and not sure I have the time. How long will this take?
I respect your time, and I know you’re busy. That’s why we’ll keep the first meeting to about 30 minutes. We can cover a lot of ground in that time.
- Is there a cost or obligation for this conversation with you?
There is no cost or obligation for our initial conversation. Once a plan that meets your specific goals and objectives has been identified, we can manage the implementation from A to Z to ensure purposeful execution. Costs can include fees and/or commissions depending on the products and services you choose.
- Can I bring my spouse or a family member?
Yes, of course! Retirement planning is often a family affair, and I encourage you to bring your spouse or anyone else involved in your financial decisions.
